Anticipation
Each and every one of us has something to get excited about. Whether it’s the anticipation of buying that great thing you’ve always wanted, seeing a long lost friend from years gone by, or going to a place you love, the rush is usually undeniable.
In my neighbourhood, that rush can be heard up and down the street when Buddy the Golden Retriever gets to go to the Dog Park. As they drive by, he sits in the back of his Dad’s blue Ford truck and tells the world he’s off for another adventure. BARK BARK BARK BARK BARK BARK, which ruffly translates into HEY EVERYBODY, I’M GOING TO THE DOG PARK….WOOOOOOHOOOOOO!
What’s even funnier is that he’s very quiet on the trip home. Either he’s worn out, or he’s disappointed the trip is over. I’m hoping he’s just worn out.
The Greater Vernon area has some wonderful Dog Parks, and they are the perfect places for your dog to go play and hang out with their new pals. Here is a link to a map of the area Dog Parks.
If you’re lucky enough, you could run into Buddy. And if you do, he might just tell the whole neighbourhood about it.
