Helping: It’s what I do. How can I help you?

John can help

Being in the Real Estate business isn’t all about signing contracts or high volume recruiting challenges. Oh no, not at all. It’s about doing what you can to make sure that everyone is happy. You do what you can to help.

How can I help?  Here is a bit of a glimpse…..

Well, so far I have taken calls at midnight to go over the details of a listing, helped out at a garage sale, borrowed a pick up to run some left over things from a client’s house to the Salvation Army, tracked down carpet cleaners, bought Tim Bits, negotiated a lower price, a closer possession date, a washer and dryer, a trampoline, tried to figure out how to get that classic Mustang included in the price, picked up keys, been yelled at, been hugged, put ads on Facebook, Twitter, Kijiji, Castanet, Realtor.ca and my website of a house for sale, talked to mortgage brokers, appraisers, lawyers, home inspectors, the pool guy, bought lunch, bought  beer, brought dog cookies, printed up feature sheets for the Take Me box on the sign, refilled them on a Sunday morning, been stood up at a showing, had to go out for a boat ride to discuss a property, chased an escapee cat around the neighborhood, saved a homeowner from a leaking hot water tank disaster, met some really great people, put thousands and thousands of kilometers on my car, stood on leather floors, been in a house that was sinking into the ground, seen some very slanty walls, wondered at a severe crack in a foundation, traced plumbing, like the one over here, arranged quotes for an air conditioning installation, explored around in a crawl space, measured the same driveway… Make sure also to contact an efficient plumber like this plumbing expert in plainfield if you have problem with your plumbing system.

4 times, found out how often the train goes by, found the girl at City Hall who can explain what that crazy sounding thing is on the title, found the guy at City Hall who can explain just what kind of home business can be run in that house, researched a heritage house at the local museum, took my Mazda 6 off roading in Cherryville to find acreage, been in a grow op, fed Wally the Dog his favorite treats, had the jeebus scared out of me by a freaked out flying cat, stared through the glass at that giant snake, made sure another Realtor was safe while showing a home to a strange-r…..and a whole lot more.

How can I help you? Let’s find out!

    Hey John,
Great post… however I didn’t see “use a home stager to prepare a home for sale”!

    Ha Ha… just kidding!

Hey, there. I LOVED this post. I’ve been in the business two years now and wish I had started a list myself. Looking forward to meeting you at the conference in Edmonton this week. And you won’t be the only one wearing jeans! 😉
