If it’s outdoor activity you seek, we have loads to do in summer and winter. If it’s food and beverages, you have to check out our wine, spirits, cider and beer! There are activities for the whole family, for the art appreciators, music lovers and community builders.

Vernon

The center of the North Okanagan, surrounded by 3 lakes features world class skiing and golf and is handy to the Kelowna International Airport

Lake Country

Heading south to the Central Okanagan, Lake Country includes the communities of Winfield, Okanagan Centre, Oyama and Carr’s Landing where lakes abound!

Coldstream

The municipality of Coldstream is on the shores of beautiful Kalamalka Lake, with rolling hills, lush farmlands and some of the best views you’ll see anywhere.

Armstrong

Just a few minutes north of Vernon, Armstrong is all about relaxed country living. Home of the renowned Interior Provincial Exhibition – aka the IPE!

Lumby

To the east of Vernon, this smaller community is set in rolling hills a short drive to the city, on the way to Mabel Lake and the gateway to the Kootenays

Enderby

North of Armstrong, cute little Enderby features gorgeous cliffs and a meandering river perfect for floating. There’s even a drive in theatre! It’s the other way to Mabel Lake!

Lakes

If you’re looking for a lake to enjoy, we have them:

Kalamalka Lake, the jewel of the Okanagan shows of her tropical looking colours in the heat of the summer.

Wood Lake is connected to Kal Lake to the south through a canal in the isthmus.

Okanagan Lake stretches from Vernon at its northernmost tip, south past Lake Country, Kelowna, Summerland Peachland, Naramata and Penticton. It’s a desitnation!

Swan Lake at the north end of Vernon is great for paddling and rowing – and, yes, even fishing.

Venture a bit futher out and you can discover Mabel Lake, Sugar Lake, and even Shuswap Lake.
